DescriptionProduction reports on the daily filming, with summaries of what occurred on each day. Included are details of the scenes shot, the cast involved, work and travel times, and the amount of film stock used. Included are pre-main shooting reports, as well as a report on the 65mm Eastman colour negative defects, with representatives from Kodak coming to inspect the film.

Of note are details of a holdup while filming TMA-1 excavation scene at Shepperton Studios while a bat was caught on set [Number 2], the arrival of actor Keir Dullea at Southampton on board SS United States [number 11], an electrician falling while moving a 10 KW lamp along the rails above the Brain Room set and the lamp itself damaging the top of the set [Number 126] and the need to retake scenes after scratches were discovered on the negative [number 63].
