| Title | Correspondence from Richard Harris |
| Description | Dear Mrs Lady..' Richard Harris writes in a flirtatious manner to Betty and mentions Alan Plater, a recent play he has had at the National [The National Theatre] and that Hilary and he send their love, and mentions Fortunes of War. The note is dated 9th Jan and begins, 'Dear Mrs Lady…' and is sending back a book. He ends, 'I love you and hope you are well and wish you everything good for this year. Your secret lover and general handyman…'. [This is probably Richard Harris the Writer, not the Actor. Richard Harris wrote episodes of 'Murder most English' that Betty Worked on at the BBC]; Part of a letter from 'Richard' [possibly Richard Harris] to Betty Willingale, wishing her a happy birthday. |
