| Description | This part of the archive contains items that were created and collected between 1990 and 1996 when the college was known as the London College of Printing and Distributive Trades. There are prospectuses, student and staff material, some limited course information and teaching materials for a select number of courses, materials created by the Department of Learning Resources, some local history for Elephant & Castle and press cuttings related to the college. It also includes books, journals, reports and publications acquired by its Library department for the use of its staff and students as well as for teaching purposes. |
| Individual or organisational biography | In 1990 the College of Distributive Trades merged with the London College of Printing to become the London College of Printing and Distributive Trades, this was to last until 1996 when the college reverted back to the title of London College of Printing. During this time the college was a constituate college of the London Institute which was formed in 1985 and given taught degree awarding powers approved by the Privy Council in 1993. |
