| Description | The file contains information on part-time and evening classes at the time Fenton was working as part-time teacher. Included are: leaflet about evening classes 1967-1968; list of names of part-time teachers of the Composing Department in 1966; a letter from William Jones, Head of Composing Department, to Fenton, regarding dates for annual examinations for part-time students in 1968; list of names of the Governing Body September 1967-1968; leaflet containing a note from the Greater London Council and the Inner London Education Authority encouraging employees to become members of their appropriate unions; leaflets about typefaces and standard sizes of papers, boards and printers' cards; a list of Head of Departments who should be contacted in case of emergency.
Also includes typewritten notes for guidance of teachers for 1967-1968; letter from the Education Officer, The County Hall, regarding drug taking in schools and a suggested menu for an unidentified event and a note handwritten by Fenton saying 'Mr R. G. Fenton was still a part-time teacher at age of 75!'. |
