Title	Design for 'European Resistance to Nazi Germany 1939-1945'
Description	This item is mounted on buff card. A secondary mount of red card has sections painted in black (with areas left exposed) to create a face, the right half is a profile in black and the red half a side of a face. The overall effect produces a portrait. The faces eyes are in black and white. Printed white text on a black background has been stuck on at the top to show its position on the design, reading 'European resistance to Nazi Germany 1939-1945'. The design was for the Imperial War Museums exhibit by the same title, held 9 May 1984-21 Apr 1985. The printed poster for the exhibit is of a different design (see TE/1/12i). This design was possibly for a book/leaflet cover or was a concept design that was discarded.
