Description | This folder contains a copy of Creative Camera magazine, September 1985, which includes an article written by Anita Corbin on her project, 'Visible Girls'.
The folder also contains 2 black and white work prints, including one which is used within the Creative Camera article, titled, 'Quasi and Squasher at The Royalty, Southgate.' On the print this is handwritten and dated, presumably as when the shot was taken, as March 1981. On the back of the photographs it is written, 'Cockpit Gallery, Princeton Street.
From Anita Corbin's Exhibition 'Girl's Subculture's: 15 laminated colour panels, 29" x 20".
Correspondence with Claire Grey confirmed that according to the original exhibition panels, it was originally made June 1981, but it is unclear excactly when it was shown at Cockpit. |
