Description | This series encloses a comb-bound draft of ‘Private View: The Eighties’, featuring a number of Dick’s photographs of: ‘The Gray Organisation (painter)’, ‘Albert Irvin (painter)’, ‘Peter Blake (painter)’, ‘David Hockney (painter)’, ‘Peter Fuller (critic)’, ‘Sir John Rothenstein’, ‘William Packer (Critic)’, ‘Directors of the Richmond Gallery, Cork St’, ‘Mr Darby of Browse and Darby Ltd, Cork St’, ‘Bernard Jacobson (gallery owner)’, and ‘Gillian Raffles (gallery owner)’.
In addition to this, the series hosts a number of black and white prints and clippings (some of which are laminated), also featuring recognisable figures, such as Ronnie Wood, Val Kilmer, Andrei Tarkovsky, Andy Warhol, Madness, Ravi Shankar, Quentin Crisp, Elton John, and Karel Reisz. |
