It contains: the school's first Annual Report of 1893 which details how, why and when the school was established; event invites and programmes for example, for the Guild and Technical School National Society of Lithographic Artists opening night on 4 Nov 1895; application form to the school [1895]; official letters to the Technical Education Board from the 1890s; announcements of student exhibits for example from Feb 1898; lecture handbills, 1890s; a handwritten page by Gamble about the Twain Design Competition, 1899; items about the Art Student Sketch Club, 1898-1901; original letter confirming the School's name change to London County Council School of Photoengraving and Lithography, 9 Apr 1900; information about joint lectures with the Northampton Institute, Clerkenwell, 1899-1901; list of courses, 1900; and a letter about special arrangements for the School due to the funeral of Queen Victoria, 29 Jan 1901 written on mourning paper. |
