Title1979 Yolo County Equinox Calendar
Description1979 Yolo County Equinox Calendar and Yolo Pages Peoples' Alternative Directory. Calendar produced for the North Californian county Crumb lived in prior to moving to the South of France. The sleeve of the Calendar is black and red card bound with twine. Crumb has provided the lettering and an illustration for the cover. It is signed 'R Crumb '78' in blue pen but does not appear to be his characteristic signature [unlikely to be him]. The back of the sleeve features a guide to planting crops according to the phases of the moon [not by Crumb]. The calendar features numerous Crumb illustrations alongside other artists including Robert Armstrong and Stan Krute. Some of the other illustrations have no signature. A rare acquisition by Coleman.
