DescriptionThis file contains a wide variety of documents across the London Musicians' Collective (LMC) communications series: LMC newsletters from 1990, 1991 and 1993, forms to support and join the LMC, an LMC calendar from 1996, LMC membership cards from 1992, various membership flyers and leaflets from 1991, a text entitled 'Message to LMC members' which explains the LMC's purpose and vision signed by Nick Couldry and Steve Noble, a text signed by Evan Parker explaining the LMC's fate since leaving the Gloucester Rd. premises, a text signed by Richard Scott with a series of proposals for how the LMC can earn revenue, various flyers for concerts put on by the LMC (from the LMC's second, third and fifth annual festivals of experimental music) proofs for different LMC logo options.

Also amongst these documents are various press releases from various gigs organised by the LMC.

Outstanding is a plastic file grouping documents from 1986 such as programe notes for 'Music for A Summer Day' performed at St. James' Church in Clerkenwell, programme notes for 'Music for a Rainy Day' festival celebrated in 1989 at The Barbican, programme notes for 'Garden of the Sun. A Celebration of Music for a Summer Day' celebrated at The Barbican [the graphics for the previous two programmes are outstandingly beautiful], LMC programmes of events from 1983 and 1986, minutes from LMC meetings and a list of LMC keyholders from March 1986.
