Description | The file contains manuals, lists, correspondence, invoices,and printed reports on equipment including telephones, cameras, television, trolleys, paper copier, car telephone and mobile radio.Also included are a catalogue about electronic listening devices, newspaper cuttings from Time [16th December 1966] and the New York Tribune [19th February 1965] about bugging and investigations about it in the United States in the 1960s. In both of the newspaper cuttings there are Kubrick's handwritten notes 'file-bugging' and 'make an alphabetized "idea file"' [it is possible that these material were used for prop research or product development in 2001: A Space Odyssey].
