DescriptionSlides detailing internal and external architecture and furnishings of the location, the rooms pictured are unfurnished as the development was new.

Thamesmead was an ambitious social and architectural experiment aiming to relocate 60,000 Londoners in a new suburban community. The architecture is modernist and in parts utilitarian, employing pale concrete and glass. Parts of Thamesmead were used in the filming.
