| Description | A selection of scenes from an early draft script by Stanley Kubrick. In this version Barry, who provides a voice-over narration, is named 'Roderick'. This is a pattern for several other characters who have names which are different to those in the final version, for instance Nora Brady is 'Dorothy Dugan'. The script also contains directions for blocking and setting.
There are seven copies of this script, and while their content is identical, the scripts are printed in different colours. Three are printed on yellow paper with green ink, Three with pink paper and blue ink and the last three scripts are made up of white paper and black and red ink. |
