| Description | File contains correspondence between Stanley Kubrick and David Chandler of the Department of War Studies and International Affairs at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The correspondence begins with Chandler congratulating Kubrick on Barry Lyndon and discussions on collaborating on Napoleon, in June of 1976. By October 1976 the pair are discussing the loan of costumes used in Barry Lyndon to the Military academy which includes contacts for the loan agreement. Although not clear in the correspondence the loan of costumes and uniforms appears to be for a display alongside a screening of Barry Lyndon and dinner at the academy. File also contains a list of costumes for eat actor including Ryan O'Neal, Patrick Magee, Leon Vitali, Phillip Stone, Murray Melvin, Roger Booth, David Morley, Dominic Savage, Marisa Berenson, Marie Kean, and general costumes for extras.
