| Description | A black ringbinder with a blue spine, labelled 'Editorial Script'. The binder contains a script for scenes 1 to 133 (Danny slides down a snowdrift after leaving the bathroom window), with annotation and detailed slate markings [probably by Ray Lovejoy]. The pages are dated 23 Jan 1978, 30 Mar 1978, 8 Apr 1978, 10 Apr 1978, 23 Apr 1978, 24 Apr 1978, 7 Aug 1978, 8 Aug 1978, 4 Sep 1978, 8 Sep 1978 and 4 Dec 1978. Two shooting dates, July 22 1978 and 8 Aug 1978, are are also noted by hand. The script consists of both photocopied and coloured pages, along with some carbon copy and handwritten sheets. Scenes 45, 53 and 54 have been cut out from elsewhere and sellotaped onto individual pages. There is a small amout of photocopied annotation by Stanley Kubrick. |
