| Description | The subseries contains photographs, 35 mm colour slides and 3 lengths of film stock. They contain research on hotels and other locations, including photographs and slides of Ahwahnee Lodge interiors and exteriors. Also includes exterior shots of Timberline Lodge, Mount Hood, Oregon which was the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel, view of street with petrol station which does not appear in the final film, 3 lengths of film stock of a road in Rocky Mountain National Park, and 1 file of photographs of motorways and cities. One file of oversized floor plans, currently folded up, for the Stanley Hotel, which was presumably considered as a location for filming the Overlook. One slide carousel with 35mm colour slides of the Ahwahnee Hotel. Also contains slides from Colorado [one of them showing ' ext. Torrance House apartment block, corner Pine C. Broadway Boulder]. and Miami locations.
