Title	Publicity material for Stephen King's novel 'The Shining'
Description	Publicity material for the release of the novel 'The Shining' [possibly gathered by Kubrick in order to evaluate the popularity of the novel and to assess the imagery used to advertise it]. Includes an issue of Publishers Weekly dated 6 Sep 1976 with a double page advertisement, and advertisements from The New York Times (dated 3 Feb 1977), The Sunday Times (dated 25 Sep 1977), and from several Asian newspapers. Also includes a telex from Howard Kaminsky, President of Warner Books, dated 02/07/77 [it is unclear if this date is written month or year first], photocopies of advertisements (one dated Feb 1977), a list of publishers who ran adverstisements for the novel including the date and size of the advert, and a letter from Molly Cochrane on behalf of Howard Kaminsky dated 3 Feb 1977. [The material appears at this stage in the chronology as it is the last item that directly relates to the novel itself].
