TitleSet dressing photographs - adaptations
DescriptionThe file contains large, and a few small, format photographs of Beckton/Docklands and Rainham Marshes [used for some of the rural Vietnamese scenes]. The images have been adapted by Art department crew to show how the locations could be dressed to resemble Vietnam: Many have been covered in clear tape and then embellished with detailing for example, palm trees and billboards. Others have cut outs on them for example, palm trees, where this has occurred items have been drawn onto transparent wax paper in pencil and then these have been glued to the image. There are three of these wax panels detailing trellis and soldiers that are detached from any image.

A small number are photographs of someone [probably Anton Furst Art Director] holding up a an oriental arch model in front of a site at Beckton [probably testing locations for the main entrance to Phu Bai Airbase]. Black and white.
