| Description | 21 black and white contact sheets taken by Stanley Kubrick during his time as a staff photographer at Look Magazine 1947-1950. The images show Rocky Graziano, boxer, preparing for a fight. They were used for many articles published about Graziano, first published on 14 February 1950 as "Rocky Graziano: he's a good boy now", in vol. 14, no.4, pp.58-66. Also published as "The fight of my life, by Rocky Graziano with Rowland Barber", in vol.18, no.24, p.26, as well as "The fight of my life, part II" in vol. 18, no.25, p.114 and "The fight of my life, part III" in vol.18, no.26, p.63. The images were also published in a film review in Look vol.20, no.16, p.38 and "Look at work" vol.21, no.9, p.148. The number written by the creator on the back of these sheets is 12284. |
