TitlePress Book
DescriptionPress Books were created by film studios to alert cinemas to the types of marketing material available to them for advertising an upcoming film at their theatre.

The Paths of Glory Press Book has a front cover of Kirk Douglas standing in front of a line of soldiers who are climbing out of a trench. Above Douglas' head is the word explosive and across his legs it reads Kirk Douglas "Paths of Glory" this graphic occurrs throughout the book along with other similar scenes featuring Douglas specifically with other actors playing soldiers featured. These graphics are used in posters, lobby cards and teaser adverts. There are other advertising materials available such as radio and tv spots, photographic stills, teaser adverts, banners, positive quotes from reviews and editorial information sheets to be used in any local marketing.
