DescriptionA collection of press cuttings showing the advertisements for the film. Most of the cuttings contain the advert on its own with a label from the press cuttings agency Argus De La Press giving the date and publication where they featured. There are also a number of whole papers or sections of newspapers containing the featured adverts.
The majority of the adverts have a simple design of a white cross on a black background. A triangle of white emits from the cross down and to the left as if it were a negative of a cast shadow. At the bottom of the beam and on a white background beneath the beam is the film title 'Les Sentiers De La Gloire' with a medal covering part of the L and O in Gloire. Below the title is further information about the film such as the stars and producer. The top of the advertisement is often labelled in white within the black background 'Un Film De Stanley Kubrick'.
