DescriptionContains a booklet with the results of the first British Film Academy Awards [BFA, now BAFTA] in 1948. The booklet has a message from Michael Balcon, and the detail of the nominations and winners of the five categories of awards. Accompanying this is a programme for the Awards Presentation ceremony, held in May 1949 at the Odeon in Leicester Square, London. [Dickinson was one of the Vice-Chairmen Officers of the BFA]. There is also a booklet titled 'Exhibition of British Film Stills', for an exhibition by the BFA which took place 3-25 May 1948, an information booklet about the Academy, and a revised version of 'Memoradum and Articles of Association of The British Film Academy' in response to the Board of Trade and the removal of the word 'Limited' from the Academy's name'
