| Description | Instructional colour lithograph poster design by Tom Eckerlsey for the General Post Office. the poster features an abstract pantomime horse in lime green and red. The poster features the slogan 'be the first not last' across its body, a letter in its mouth and a parcel under its tail, dated 1955.
The additional slogan below the horse design states 'Travel early shop early post early' as a footer, with each portion in a different colour text.
