Description | Filmed interview with Marian Williams, in which she talks about coming to London from Sierra Leonne at 18 years old. She talks about being 'diagnosed' in Sierra Leonne, but without facilities to help, and about attending Lewisham College where she was correctly diagnosed and began to receive help. Marian talks about the difficulties she has with reading and writing, and how she focused on the visual side of her work, and on her working methods. She also talks about the difficulties of studying with two children, one of whom is autistic, giving advice to those in similar situations to do the work. The interview is edited with the interviewer's questions cut out.
