The file contains: a transcript of a conversation between Kubrick and Southern, 25 Aug 1964; a letter from Peter George to 'Life' magazine, 23 Aug 1963 about Southern's role in Dr Strangelove; a press release by Columbia Pictures on behalf of Kubrick detailing the time-line and reasons for Southern's involvement with the screenplay refuting an earlier article in the New York Times which claimed Terry Southern to be the author of Dr Strangelove.
