DescriptionThe letters concern day to day operations, of note are: an invite with draft proceedings for Kubrick to the Congress of Scientists on Survival, Apr 1964; a copy letter form Kubrick to George C Scott, 12 Nov 1963 [the letter is attached to one that is signed Stevey but throughout the files letters and replies are attached and from the content it would appear to be from Scott]; and a letter from Kubrick to Gilbert Seldes, University of Pennsylvania, 6 Apr 1964 explaining he never makes speeches or writes articles.

Of particular note are letters from Kubrick to Peter Sellers with replies from Kubrick, 23 Jun-16 Jul 1964. The letters are mainly informal and do not relate to the film [although one does refer to the British Academy Awards] for example, Sellers writes that Surrey is the loveliest county in England.
