DescriptionIncludes papers relating to the process of choosing which cuts of film should be used in the theatrical copies of The Shining. Two binders labelled ' "The Shining" Cutting Copy Key No. B/Down'. The binders house records of what slates and takes were shot on each of seventeen reels of film. Records also include 'Moy No's' and 'Key No's'. Some records handwritten, some copies of handwritten originals. One binder labelled ' "The Shining" Inventory SK Copy' containing papers relating which cuts of film should be used for what version of the film: final versions in English, foreign versions, and trailers. Wide scope of material, frequently highly technical. One folder containing cutting patterns and handwritten cutting notes annotated on typed sheets for each reel. subseries also contains the a document titled '"The Shining" Work Outstanding' dated 2 February 1981 which contains editing notes for the italian version of The Shining.
