  <dc:description>Prints, cuttings, booking forms and correspondence relating to 'A Document on Chile', an exhibition by Peter Kennard and Ric Sissons. The exhibition uses the method of photomontage to present a history of Chile during the 1960s and 1970s, including the years leading up and including the leadership of the Unidad Popular Government of Salvador Allende, as well as period following the military coup led by General Augusto Pinochet.

The exhibition was hired for loan by various organisations and galleries, including Institute of Education London, News from Nowhere Bookshop, Hull College of Fine Arts [now Hull School of Art and Design], Lancaster University Students' Union, University of Kent Students' Union, School of Oriental and African Studies Students' Union, Mid-Warwickshire College of Further Education School of Arts, First of May Bookshop, University of Sussex Gardner Arts Centre [now Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts], Bulmershe College of Higher Education, North East London Polytechnic, Kingsway-Princeton College [now Capital City College Group], Sunderland Polytechnic, as a well as a group working in solidarity with Chile.</dc:description>
