  <dc:title>Nigel Henderson: Bethnal Green 1949–52, 1977 -1980</dc:title>
<dc:description>Press release, cuttings, paperwork, loan forms relating to 'Bethnal Green 1949-52', an exhibition by Nigel Henderson. The exhibition featured photographs by Henderson documenting his neighbours and children in the East End of London. It drew from work originally shown at the Midland Group, Nottingham in 1978. Included in the folder is also a small blue booklet by Anthony d'Offay, which chronicles Nigel Henderson's life from birth until 1977 based on conversations with Henderson. There is also a copy of Issue 44 of the British Journal of Photography, 2 November 1979, which includes a write-up of 'Bethnal Green 1949-52' on pages 1054-1056.

The exhibition was hired for loan by various organisations and galleries, including Whitechapel Library, Centerprise Trust, LBTH / THAC [possibly London Borough of Tower Hamlets / Tower Hamlets Athletics Centre] and Ruhr Planning Authority.</dc:description>
