'Landscapes inc. Industrial' This series contains a collection of colour prints, black and white prints, and contact sheets. Recurring subjects found in the photographs are natural: flowers, the countryside, rain, snow, the seaside; and primary locations include Oxford, Paris, Aldworth, Tuileries, Norfolk, and the Orkney Islands. A selection of contact sheets depict images of dog races – related material can be found in another of Dick’s projects entitled ‘Women Smoking, Poverty, The Dogs, The Races, Anti-War Rally’ (DSS/1/13). This series also includes a number of highly saturated colour prints from a series named ‘Norfolk Nights’ – the colours are bright and vibrant.
