<dc:title>Founding and merged schools and departments</dc:title>
<dc:description>This section of the archive contains the archives of the schools and departments that later became or were merged to become part of the London College of Printing which eventually became London College of Communication. The schools are; London County Council School of Photoengraving and Lithography otherwise known as Bolt Court, St Bride's Foundation School which later became London School of Printing and Kindred Trades (and later London School of Printing and Graphic Arts when merged with Bolt Court) and the College for Distributive Trades. North Western Polytechnic Department of Printing merged with LCP thus the materials prior to the merge sit here. Within the archives is student work, prospectuses, year books, administrative documentation and a lot of in-house printing.</dc:description>
