[This conference was largely based in Communist ideology and included as one of its speakers Peter Mauger, Communist Party of Great Britain member, teacher, NUT member and Comics Campaign Council member. The conference did not happen as many of the attendees were stopped from entering the UK by the British Government who perceived it as a communist gathering.] Dec 1953
