Notebooks The subseries contains four notebooks: a memo book where Kubrick wrote 'Sat 16 Oct' [1965] mentioning family arrangements, rough notes and Pablo Ferro [Graphic Designer who directed Dr Strangelove advertising trailers and teasers]; a blue notebook containing only one used page with rough handwritten notes about Powell [Ivor Powell from Hawk Films?]; and a mustard book where Kubrick wrote 'Stanley Kubrick, survey book' and 'given to me on my birthday by Vivian [Kubrick], July 26 1980' containing rough notes to: timetables, to do lists, 'Ring of the Nibelungs', 'The Last Day of Minstreal' and The Shining publicity and special effects. Also included is a notebook titled 'Stanislavski Notes', on the first page is written 'Notes on acting based on Stanislavski books'. 1965- 1980
