In July 1981, Kubrick expressed a desire to revise the texts for all foreign editions of the book; the texts were divided by A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon and The Shining. The file also contains duplicates of the transcripts in 9 folders and 3 floppy discs which are unavailable for preservation reasons.

The English version of the book was published in 1982.</dc:description>
