  <dc:title>Photographs</dc:title>
<dc:description>The photographs document the film making process and include both stills and on set activities. Some were taken by Bob Penn [see versos, Robert Cyril Penn, stills photographer], some by Nicolas Tikhomiroff [see versos, war photographer], some by Dmitri Kasterine [see versos, portrait photographer. He also did stills for '2001: A Space Odyssey' and 'A Clockwork Orange']. Some scenes were also photographed by Weegee [Arthur H. Fellig, photojournalist and news photographer see SK/11/10/1/6] (1899-1968). Further ones were taken by Manuel Harlan [see SK/11/10/3]. Black and white, except for Crew which are colour.

There is also a letter on Dr Strangelove headed paper from Lee Minoff to Kubrick about Tikhomiroff shots, 27 Nov 1963.

In the crew agreements [SK/11/2/9] is a reference to stillsmen Bob Penn and Shepperton Studios staff stillsman Laurie Ridley, 30 Nov 1962.</dc:description>
