  <dc:title>Special Effects 1 [SF1] The Original Sausage Factory</dc:title>
<dc:description>Notes on special effects shots, including details of the subject, slate numbers, cameras, lenses and film used, as well as sketched drawings of the shots.

The Sausage Factory was a system of selsyn synchronised motors fitted to a hi-pack camera which enabled the special effects crew to programme the camera's movements so that shots could be repeated exactly. This was used for in-camera matte shots. </dc:description>
