  <dc:description>The 'C' sufix slides show the shooting sequence from December 1965 - 1967. [Several stills-photographers documented the live action sets, crew and technicians during the making of 2001]. The  numbering and photographers names were hand written on the slide mounts. The first slides from November &amp; December 1965 show futuristic cars. Slides include casting portraits of stewardesses, the TMA site (Tychco Magnetic Anomoly-1) and Monolith on the set at Shepperton Studios. Interior of the Moonbus. The Centifuge [which was built on stage at MGM Studios] for the shots in the interior of Discovery. Louis XIV French bedroom set. The Dawn of Man. Shots of actors, crew and technicians on and off-set. Also portraits of Stanley Kubrick on set.
