<dc:title>Editing Books - film frames</dc:title>
<dc:description>Colour positive, 35mm film frames these were used as aids for editing after the film had been shot, [possibly as a reference point for Kubrick to determine what each scene contained]. The scenes are numbered from 1-61 with 14 scenes missing. Frames from scenes which are not included in the final cut of the film feature within this material.

A number of slides are kept at the back of boxes 1 & 2 [probably used to highlight major points within the film]. Notes on the actors and scenes are included which are written on card.

Scenes missing are 3, 10, 16, 18, 22, 31, 37, 38, 41, 43, 50, 55, 56 & 59.

Box 1 contains 593 frames & 10 slides, scenes 1-20
Box 2 contains 509 frames & 13 slides, scenes 21-45
Box 3 contains 571 frames, scenes 46A - 61

Please note, these items are kept in cold storage and must be called up 24 hours prior to use.</dc:description>
