  <dc:title>'The Shining Screenplay'</dc:title>
<dc:description>A black ringbinder with a green spine, labelled 'The Shining Screenplay'. The binder contains a one line scene synopsis for the whole film (scenes 1 - 153), annotated by Stanley Kubrick. Each page of the synopsis is dated 31 Oct [1978], and a note is dated 25 Dec 1978. The binder also contains a screenplay, annotated by Stanley Kubrick and at least one other person [probably Ray Lovejoy], covering the first to last scene ( the last scene is now numbered 153A). The final scene in this script takes place in a hospital where Danny and Wendy are recovering and are visited by Ullman. The pages are dated 30 Mar 1978, 7 Aug 1978, 4 Sep 1978, 28 Sep 1978, 25 Nov 1978, 27 Nov 1978, 5 Mar 1979. Some notes are dated 22 Jul 1978 and 12 Apr 1979, and shooting dates are noted as 3 Aug 1978, 8 Aug 1978 and 31 Aug 1978. Some script pages are coloured, some have been stapled together, and Scene 101 has a section that has been cut out from elsewhere and glued in. One page has the title 'Ann[e] Jackson Post Sync Ideas', written in Stanley Kubrick's hand.
