Saul Bass File contains a photocopy of a handwritten letter from Stanley Kubrick to Saul Bass thanking him for designs but not sure if they are commercial enough. The Shining is not mentioned however the assumption has been made that the designs were for The Shining as Bass made other designs for the film. 3 Feb
