'Timing Hunter. M + Jan' File contains two packs of documents, one sent to Jan Harlan, and the other to Martin Hunter. The collection of documents included in each pack are: A cover memo from Stanley Kubrick asking for the recipient to time each scene with a stopwatch; A typed copy of each scene's dialogue or description, forty-nine in total; and a handwritten sheet of timings for each scene. 3 Apr 1984
