Making 'The Shining' 'Making "The Shining"' is a half-hour documentary made by Stanley Kubrick's then-teenage daughter, Vivian Kubrick. She was encouraged by her father to follow with her video camera the cast and crew during the filming of The Shining. This series consists of all materials related to that footage and its creation into the final documentary. Series also includes materials related to interviews with the primary cast members and child actor Danny Lloyd's parents. c1977-1981
