  <dc:title>Look Magazine</dc:title>
<dc:description>The archive holds items that are mostly contemporary to Stanley Kubrick's work as a staff photographer with Look Magazine from 1947 to 1950. It consists of original pages from the magazine (articles with Kubrick's work in), and some of Kubrick's original contact sheets. There are also reprints of some of the jobs he did which were obtained from the Library of Congress in 2002 and added to the archive by Kubrick's family. The articles, contact sheets and photographs are only a sample of his work and are not comprehensive of his photography career with Look.

[An article about Kubrick while a staff photographer at Look can be seen in SK/1/2/13/4. His original photograph which started his career with Look is in SK/1/2/4/1/? and the materials created to reproduce the image in SK/1/2/15/1/1.]
