The Seafarers Contemporary and non-contemporary material relating to the documentary The Seafarers filmed by Kubrick for the International Seafarers Union in 1953. The film was released 15 October 1953 and it was his first production using colour film. The material in this series consists of still photographs taken during the making of the film and correspondence with the Kubrick Estate regarding a possible video release of the film in 2000. 1953-2000
