'Soviet Cinema' Fronticepiece Loose fronticepiece from the book 'Soviet Cinema', edited by A. Arossev, with the design and photomontage by V. Stepanova and A. Rodchenko. The fronticepiece is a transparent acetate portrait of a side-view Stalin's head, which is in silver, and has a text in Russian [a large quote by Stalin]. The acetate is torn in half and is very delicate. The fronticepiece is from 'Soviet Cinema', Voks, [Ref-FT-71(47)]. It was removed due to its delicate and damaged state.
