Layton Student Awards poster The file contains a poster signed by Eckersley to advertise the exhibit of entries for the Awards, the text is black and red on a background of white at the footer. The image is on a black background and is concentric circles of burgundy, red, white, black and gold. Measures, 39.5cm by 29cm. There is also: a large envelope with Layton's crest [a griffin holding a circular board of concentric circles] and the text 'Layton Annual Awards' and the address in black and green: a piece of headed paper featuring the awards name and contact address along the header [all text is black apart from 'Student' which is red], the only decoration is to the left 1/5th of the way down, the Awards logo is embossed on the page [a griffin] and rests on three concentric red circles with a black circular middle. A second piece in the same but with accents in green; an entry form, 1963, printed on green paper featuring the log; two magazine adverts for the Award, one dated 1964, with entry details. One is a black and white version of the design on the recto of the magazine supplement for Layton Service [TE/4/2/10i] and the other features the logo, 1964. Both are black and white; and an invite to the Award show, 1964 with the cover featuring the logo in black on a red background. Eckersley designed the logo. 1964
