| Description | A map of the British Empire Exhibtion. The exhibition was set up to celebrate and raise patriotism in Britain and in the British Empire after World War I. During the war decreasing interest within the British Empire grew due to various reasons. At the exhibition over 50 countries contirbuted to displays including British Guiana [now Guyana], South Africa, India, Australia, Nigeria and Malta.
