ActivityJohn Lloyd (born 1944) is a graphic designer and co-founder of the design consultancy, Lloyd Northover.

Lloyd began his career as an apprentice lithographic artist in the printing industry in 1960. He studied firstly at South West Essex School of Art in 1964, before joining the London College of Printing (now London College of Communication) in 1965. It was during his time at London College of Printing, between 1965 and 1968, that he met Jim Northover. During this time, Lloyd and Northover collaborated on several projects together. On graduating in 1968, Lloyd joined Allied International Designers.

In 1975, Lloyd left Allied Internation Designers to set up Lloyd Northover with Jim Northover. Lloyd Northover produced designs for arts organisations such as Royal Shakespeare Company, large corporations such as John Lewis Partnership and British Rail, and international projects.

Lloyd stepped away from Lloyd Northover in 2004. Since then, he has worked as an independent designer, consultant, artist, and writer.
