DescriptionThe VHS and DVD sub-series extend a layer of detail to the collection, complimenting the music and many of the artists interviewed. Invaluable to the archive, the VHS offer some very rare and fundamental insights into the herstory of gender politics in the creative arts, with works from Vivienne Dick, Beth B, Lizzie Borden and Lucy Thane among others. Of specific relevance to the project as a whole may be the 6 minute footage of No Alternative Girls, by Tamara Davis' Noaltgirls was the collaborative name that Dzuverovic and Neset first gave themselves and is formative to the whole Her Noise project and the subsequent development of Electra Productions.
