Included is correspondence concerning the acquisition of classical recordings, a list of early Italian operas recorded by Phonogram, letters on a deal with Deutsche Gramophone for production of the soundtrack album, correspondence with the Musician's Union regarding the use of members for recording sessions, agreements with Decca and EMI over payments for use of commercial recordings, arrangements for the recording of music by the Band of the Coldstream Guards and by musicians in Ireland, memoranda and notes on attempts to hire composers Nino Rota and Andre Previn and lists of the sheet music acquired. Also included is sheet music for a piece by Johann Sebastian Bach.
